Some comments made by adults attending MAEP:
MAEP has helped me learn, to get my GED, and to get a good career for myself and my family.
I expect my children to get an education, so I need to set the example. School at MAEP makes me feel good!
I have learned to accomplish my goals at MAEP.
I now have the knowledge to achieve a better future for myself and my children.
MAEP has prepared me for the future, to get a good career, and to help our children with their homework.
With education I now have more opportunities to help me in opening many new doors.
Education is helping me to succeed in life, to go to college and get a good career.
Education to me is everything. I didnt finish school when I was supposed to, but Im here now, trying to better myself with higher learning as far as I can go. Having a higher education is changing my whole life around, especially the way I live and how my children and people see me, including having a better job. If it wasnt for school, I would most likely be labeled as another statistic of my generation who hasnt accomplished anything. To an extent I dont care what people think of me, however, I do care that society perceives me as productive.
MAEP has helped me to get where I need to go.
